The Weekly competition is a pivotal aspect of 8 Ball Pool. Every week, a competition is held between world leagues, country leagues, friends leagues and "my leagues". During the weekly competition, players must accumulate and acquire as much money as possible in order to better other players. If the player gets any position in the top three, then they win a prize, ranging from 500 Pool Coins to 1500 Pool Cash.
There is a button which features the words "Last week results"; looking at it will, hence the name, show the player the results of the last week they played in. If they didn't play the game at all through that entire week, they would be unable to view the results, and a message remarking "There are no results available since you didn't play last week." will show. There is also a button with the letter "i", which, when pressed will give the player a comprehensive list of league information.

- Your league tier is based on your level at the start of the week.
- Level up to climb the tiers and win bigger prizes!
- You are matched with a small group of players of similar level and coin balance to yourself.
- Finish in the top 3 to win a prize!
"Rules" slide[]
- Ranking is based on total weekly winnings.
- All In matches do not count towards the total weekly winnings.
- If you play the same opponent more than once in the same week, only the winnings from the 1st match are counted.
- You move up the next tier by earning XP and levelling up.
- You can only be promoted at the end of a week even if you level up during a week, you'll stay in the same tier until the week comes to an end.
